had choir today as usual, but we had to do extra PT cause mrs low said it was make up for the other day that we didnt do PT. had to run 10 rounds of the track, and 5 sets of 25 of conditioning. it was pretty okay. we had sectionals for like, 2 hours and had octats for 2 hours too. i kinda like octats now. (for those who dont know, octats where a group of 8 people, 2 from each section , sop1, sop2, alto1, alto2, come together to form a group and sing in front of the whole choir)Posted at: 11:53 PM i think octats really trains individual singing. yeah. choir was till 5 and i thought i was going to be late, but steph, my life saver, said she could give me a lift to church, so she did and her mom went for mass, so i dragged her into mass as well. then i heard that at 5pm (when caroling starts) there was like 8 people there. its so disappointing. (i wasnt there either, but that was cause i had choir and i rushed to church okay!) i mean, like. when the caroling comm tells you there's caroling practise, the least you could do was show up on time. and if you cant make it, do tell us. dont wait till we call you, we dont have free outgoing calls you know. and i think it all balls down to respect. if you really did respect the comm, you would come on time. but obviously, some of you guys dont. okay, i dont blame you, we werent a very good comm and stuff, but look here, we are trying okay. its not that easy. when you guys sing, its just so depressing to be standing in front you know? cause you guys sound so sian. its not only the sound, its the facial expression and the way you stand. i dont know. maybe i'm being overly sensitive, but thats basically how i feel. i know we should have been more prepared and at least know what we should do and stuff, we're working on it. but, i doubt anyone of you will read this anyway, so, whatever. on a lighter note, i've just taken up a new sport, whacking peter. anyone care to join? its totally painless, for you that is, if you're a girl. herher. |
